Word and PDF
Word is the working format for comments and redlines. PDF is a fixed-layout review copy. Paid access removes the free-preview watermark, but draft labeling and the need for counsel review still apply. Inspect the first page, section breaks, tables, and last page after exporting.
Excel and supporting documents
The Excel underwriting export applies to supported real-estate workflows. Form D pre-fills apply to supported Regulation D workflows and do not file anything with the SEC. The investor questionnaire is an intake document for the appropriate review process, not a certification of eligibility.
If PDF generation is unavailable
Open the printable document and use the browser’s Print or Save as PDF option. Select Letter paper, enable background graphics if needed, and disable the browser’s own headers and footers. Preview the result before saving. Do not buy the same offering again to solve a file-generation issue.
Choose a file for the next task
Use Word for comments and redlines. Use PDF when you need a stable reading copy. Use a supported Excel export to inspect and revise the underwriting assumptions separately. The questionnaire and Form D pre-fill serve different purposes and do not replace the PPM.
Check the exported version before forwarding it. Compare its offering name, target raise, minimum, fees, and framework with the current draft. A download can contain a working document with missing information. Keep a dated version when coordinating review, since the file does not refresh when the app draft later changes.
